ALCASİSTM BONE CEMENT USER MANUAL
PRODUCT DEFINITION:
ALCASİSTM is acrylic bone cement which is used in the operations, polymerizes fast, which is made up of radiopaque, polymethylene methacrylate. It becomes ready for use as a result of exothermic polymerization taking place after mixing both powder and liquid components. This mixture polymerized before use aims to enhance the union of joint implants with the bone in orthopedic operations.
COMPONENTS:
ALCASİS TM and ALCASİS TM Genta: contains polymethylene methacrylate sterilized with 40 g ethylene oxide, and methylene methacrylate liquid within color glass ampule sterilized with one item of 20 ml ultrafiltration within its package.
Powder component; contains polymethylene methacrylate (Acrylic Polymer), Barium sulfate Ph Eur BP USP and Benzoyl Peroxide (contains Alcasis Genta +1 g Gentamicin Sulfate in the form of antibiotic).
Liquid composition: contains Methylene Methacrylate, N, N dimethylene p-toluidine and Hydroquinone.
ALCASİS TM ZV : contains polymethylene methacrylate sterilized with25 g ethylene oxide, and methylene methacrylate liquid within color glass ampule sterilized with one item of 12,5 ml ultrafiltration within its package.
Powder component; contains polymethylene methacrylate (Acrylic Polymer), Barium sulfate Ph Eur BP USP and Benzoyl Peroxide.
Liquid component: contains Methylene Methacrylate, N, N dimethylene p-toluidine and Hydroquinone.
